Abet和incite都有煽動(dòng)，慫恿之意，但是二者適用得語境和含義均有所不同。
Abet一詞常用于法律語境，指得是協(xié)助或者鼓勵(lì)某人做壞事，即：to help or encourage sb to do sth wrong，可翻譯為“慫恿，伙同(某人犯罪等）”比如：【aid and abet】就是一個(gè)常見得法律術(shù)語，翻譯為“同謀；幫兇”。
Incite一詞可以用在日常語境中，表示“鼓動(dòng)，煽動(dòng)，教唆（通過言行挑逗，激起人們得憤怒，促使事情發(fā)展走向暴力，違法）”，即：to encourage sb to do sth violent, illegal or unpleasant, especially by making them angry or excited（stir up their negative emotions）。比如：to incite crime/racial hatred/violence 教唆犯罪；煽動(dòng)種族仇恨╱暴力。
